M.O.R.E. Was started in 1987 when three
people Dan Dagenais,
Justin Muers and John Cranfield were drinking coffee in John's living
room
after a day playing in the wood with their Land Rovers. It was intended
at that time to be an informal group with little organization and that
was what it got.
Over the years Dan and Justin moved away and the group only consisted
of John and Con Seitl who had joined in 89. In the late 90s there were
a good number of new enthusiasts around Nova Scotia which has
led to a resurgence of M.O.R.E.
At the turn of the century, the structure of the club changed
resulting in the number of
members increasing
with the greatest of enthusiasm for Land Rovers.
We
have had a Labour Day weekend rally every year
since 1998.
In addition to informal trail runs throughout the year, club member
John Cranfield has
also held the annual Moose Trophy rally on his farm
since 1999.
Several members
meet at the Tim Hortons in Bayers Lake, Nova Scotia on the first
Tuesday of each month at 7pm(ish) for an informal coffee night.
